This week is homecoming in Durant! Today was Costume day for the high school, so Mike put on his trusty red flannel and dressed as Paul Bunyan. He wanted me to dress as his 'babe' but I reminded him that first of all - I am NOT blue, and secondly - only the high school gets to dress up!

Tomorrow the dress up day is "Sports Team." I am quite certain Mike will not be dressing up in a Cubs jersey like many of his fellow colleagues and students. Go TWINS!

This fall has been very busy for us. Mike is constantly working trying to keep up with his classes and not get too overwhelmed with being a first year teacher. I, however, am loving that I do not have to do homework each night, but can come home and just relax!

This past weekend I spent all day Saturday and Sunday doing the "once a month cooking" I was able to make over 30 meals which I froze, so now I don't have to really cook until the end of October!! I am glad that is out of the way, now I can really relax at night.

We definitely are missing living in Minnesota, but the weather here has been so nice that it makes it tough not to also love it here when the weather is still hitting 75-80 degrees. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving when we can head up to Bemidji to see our new neices or nephews! I am also hoping that I can go up and hunt a deer this year using my little baby shotgun (which I have never shot) this winter with my great sister-in-law.
Thats all from Wilton.
Go TWINS!
