On Tuesday Mike and I visited two houses that our landlord owns and rents to people. We really loved one of them. It was a two bedroom home in the country with a yard, gargage, but no dishwasher. (That was the my turnoff). We were hoping to love the house and move so we could get a puppy.
We loved the house, but realized that right now in the middle of the school year would be too hard to move. We are keeping our fingers crossed on the house still being available in May when we would have more time to move and then get our puppy.
This week, we were having some technical difficulties with our computers. About two weeks ago, something happened to our desktop monitor - it just stopped turning on. So being the cheapies we are, we just pulled out our laptop. About 1/2 a day into the laptop being out, it contracted a virus!
We were stuck with no computers and even worse - No BLOGGY!
We took them both in and now they are in tip top shape. We got a cheapo monitor for only $10.00 and the virus on the laptop is gone (not so cheap!)
Below I have posted a few pictures of our new babies that we could have in our apartment.
Meet our Pet Shark.
His name is Sharkbait.
He is about 2" long.
He should grow to almost 6" if we don't kill him first.
Meet our pet frog.
His name is toad.
He is about 1" long.
He is albino.
He is a carnivore like sharkbait.
He will grow to be nearly 10" long.
He will grow to be nearly 10" long.
He will probably eat sharkbait when he is bigger.
Meet our pet catfish.
His name is wildcat.
He is very fast like Mike's track stars.
He is 2" long.
He may grow to 6" long if toad doesn't eat him first.
He is so fast I couldn't get a good picture.
He is also a carnivore.
He eats shrimp with his friends.
He is suppossed to be a bottom feeder.
He is suppossed to be a bottom feeder.
He doesn't like the bottom of the tank.
Here is a pretty good picture of his undercarriage.
Whole tank with our three babies.
As you can see, wildcat is still very fast.
