Before -
Dad and Mike hung sheetrock on Saturday and Sunday. They got it all done except for one small piece that Mike will need to do before mud/tape/texture. It was a lot of messing with the closet, chimney, and around windows, but it is really looking like a real bedroom now and it makes me so excited!
Megan helped too by painting the bathroom for me. It was a pretty big job since it needed 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint on walsl and ceiling! She did a fabulous job :)
Extra insulation went in around all the walls and chimney to help hold in the heat and air conditioning better for a more efficient home.
Megan also helped paint our built in bookshelves and closet shelves. They are a dark brown, and the walls will be a light green.

After -
Flooring, vanity, mirrors, electrical outlets went in today in the bathroom and outlets in the bedroom. Still need to hang vanity lights, storage cabinet, put toilet in, faucet and bathroom door. Hopefully they will be done tomorrow! It has gone by super fast. The only thing left in the bedroom will be mud/tape/texture, paint, then carpet. We are currently held up because we do not have anyone to mud/tape/texture. Paint and carpet are ready to go so as soon as we can find a drywall guy to do our bedroom we will be set.
