We are still adjusting to Barkley and having another puppy! He is fullfilling his name well. The first night we had him, he barked all night long! Since he is not house trained he is in a crate all night. The second and third nights, he slept with us and we got up to let him out every 3-6 hrs or whenever he woke up. He is now sleeping in his crate each night and doesn't bark anymore, until he needs to go potty.
We had second thoughts on his name after a few days. When Barkley is held in the morning or after barking for a while in his crate, he grunts and whines like Wilbur the pig from Charotte's Web. Shelby wanted to name him Wilbur after that.
He is a great puppy and follows us everywhere. Usually walking right underneath our feet! Herbie is a good big brother and plays with him really well. He has not been jelous yet and they love to play tug of war and wrestling together.
