Had my doctor appointment today.
I have gained 24 pounds! YIKES.
Blood pressure is good and my belly is growing well. Doctor Yates measured my belly and said it is about 31 weeks in size.
The past 2 weeks, Mike and I have been taking a home course called Hypnobabies. This is a natural birth plan that focuses on relaxation techniques and self hypnosis. Each day/evening we listen to recordings that include hypnosis or affirmations about pregnancy and the birth. It has been very relaxing and fun to learn all the things I will need to know for the birth through this course.
Today during our appointment today, we discussed our birthing plan with Dr. Yates. He is perfectly fine with our Hypnobabies idea and said he will do whatever needed to be sure we are comfortable and have a birth that we envision.
Congrats to all our family members and friends who have figured out our puzzle for our baby name! I applaude all of you who have kept it a secret to others who cannot or have not figured it out yet. It is a hard secret to keep, but fun for others to find out themselves as well!
